Description and Responsibilities
Pavilion Erbil is a DSE-awarded interactive sales application that leverages the power of Unreal Engine 5. It serves as a Digital Twin of the massive Pavilion project, seamlessly integrated into a large-scale Erbil city map. Extensively used in sales offices and international expos, it was a key showcase project at the Dreambox Stand during the MIPIM Fair. Designed as a next-generation tool, it empowers sales teams while enabling clients to experience the project independently.
Massive Scale Optimization: I took over the project when it was running at 15 FPS and optimized it to a stable 80 FPS. Managed a 50km² playable area scanned from Google Earth, utilizing World Partition, HLOD, Nanite, and DLSS integration to ensure high performance across devices.
Custom Tool Integration: Actively utilized my own custom development tools - Automated VAT Tool, Spline Flow Tool, and Spline Cloner Tool - to populate the massive environment with optimized traffic, pedestrians, and vegetation efficiently.
Real-Time Environment: Implemented a dynamic day-night cycle and weather simulation, allowing users to experience the project under various atmospheric conditions in real-time.
Software Architecture & API Integration: Personally handled the entire development process. Integrated API and CRM systems for real-time inventory updates. Designed a flexible UI system capable of switching between different user modes (Sales Team vs. Client Mode).
Immersive Sales Experience: Consolidated all project details into a single interactive interface. The system eliminates the need for physical showrooms by offering photorealistic virtual tours of every unit type, significantly boosting sales velocity and reducing costs.
