Description and Responsibilities
Beyond Extinct is a solo-developed FPS/Roguelike game released on Steam in 2020. In addition to game development, I also handled the entire UI/UX pipeline to manage complex data during fast-paced combat:
Complex HUD Management: Designed a cohesive layout to simultaneously display health, ammo, and dozens of active & special skills without cluttering the screen.
Menu Systems: Created intuitive menus to easily manage over 1000+ skill combinations and weapon upgrades.
Visual Feedback: Implemented dynamic elements like damage numbers and hit markers for immediate combat response.
